About the event
All are invited to the unveiling and dedication ceremony for two new historic site markers designating sites important during the Colonial and Revolutionary War era: the SHIPYARD SITE marker and the COLONIAL MILL marker. Saturday 9/26/26 @ 11:00am adjacent to the Town of Wappinger Boat and Kayak Launch on Wappinger Creek. Parking is available at the launch, across the street on Alexander Lane, or the at the Boathouse at 105 Market Street in the village of Wappingers Falls.
The Wappingers Historical Society in conjunction with the Town of Wappinger proudly announces the installation and unveiling of two historical roadside markers designating sites that are important to the Colonial and Revolutionary War era in the town.
